When I come before Mother, opening my heart and wishing to tell her all that is within me,

ഉള്ളതു പറയാൻ എത്തീടുമ്പോൾ (ullathu parayān etthīdumpōl)

...just as I arrive to pour out my true feelings (everything that is inside me),

ആശ്രയമാകുമെൻ ആദിപരാശക്തി (Āśrayamākumen Ādiparāśakthi)

My ultimate refuge, O Aadiparasakthi (the primordial supreme power),

ആധികളെല്ലാം അകറ്റീടണേ (ādhikalellām akattīdanē)

Please drive away all my mental anxieties and deep sorrows.

വൈഡൂര്യം തോൽക്കും നയനയുഗം (Vaidūryam tōlkkum nayanayugam)

Your pair of eyes (nayanayugam) outshines the brilliance of cat's eye gemstones (vaidhooryam).

കുങ്കുമ മണിയും തിരു നെറ്റിയും (kunkuma maniyum thiru nettiyum)

Your sacred forehead (thiru nethi) is beautifully adorned with vermilion (kungkumam).

പത്തരമാറ്റിൽ പട്ടുടയാടയും (patthara māttil pattudayādayum)

You wear silk garments (pattudayada) of the purest, finest quality gold (patharamathu).

പുഞ്ചിരി തൂകും ശ്രീമുഖവും (puñchiri thūkum śhrīmukhavum)

And Your divine, radiant face (sreemukham) is ever-showering a gentle smile.

ഭക്തനെനിക്ക് ഗുരുതിയിൽ അമൃതും (Bhaktanenikku guruthiyil amrutum)

Goddess Raja Rajeswari, You continuously bestow these blessings upon me.

ഇടക്കതൻ ശ്രുതിയിൽ നൽകുമി നൈവേദ്യം (Idakkathān śhrutiyil nalkumi naivēdyam)
