Summary :       This is a  hymn dedicated to Lord Ayyappa (Hariharaputra), praising his cosmic form, supreme power, gentle nature, and role as the ultimate refuge for humanity.

Shlokam : "I pray to the son of Hari and Hara (Vishnu and Shiva), who is the friend of the helpless, the destroyer of enemies, the most beautiful in the universe, and worshipped by the wise. He protects the entire cosmos, is infinite, noble, and destroys all inauspicious things. With a beautiful face like the autumn moon, he rides a majestic, noble horse. He is the warrior of warriors and the purifier of all souls."

Pallavi : "We take absolute refuge in Lord Sastha, who is the ultimate foundation, support, and ruler of the entire universe."

Anupallavi: "He possesses a gentle form and a deeply peaceful demeanor. Yet, he is the supreme one whose cosmic play (vihara) encompasses creation, protection, and dissolution (sargga, paalana, harana) of the universe."

Charanam 1: "Your divine smile is like the beautiful charm of the spring season (vasantha). Your movement controls time itself, oh merciful protector of the poor. You are the divine son of the Lord of Girija (Shiva) and Madhava (Vishnu in the form of Mohini). You are the ultimate essence of all scriptures, the lord of the gods, and the supreme teacher."

Charanam 2: "Oh Lord, please heal this world and make it free from disease and suffering (virujam), for we have no other refuge. Cleanse our minds which are drowning in the ocean of worldly, material attachments. Oh Lord worshipped by the gods, please grant me eternal, deep devotion to your extraordinarily beautiful and glorious feet."
