Meaning
Summary :     his devotional hymn begins with a slokam revering Mookambika as the beautiful Goddess Saraswati, requesting her to remove all speech defects and reside in the devotee's heart. It then shifts to a prayer to Lord Ganesha, the son of Gauri, asking for his divine protection. The anupallavi specifically calls upon the sweet-voiced Saraswati to dawn within the worshipper's mind with mercy. In the final section, the devotee takes refuge at the lotus feet of the all-powerful, moon-faced Goddess residing in Cheranalloor. This song thus provides a beautiful synthesis, offering worship to Ganesha, Saraswati (Mookambika), and Cheranalloor Durga within a single composition.

Slokam : O Goddess Vani (Saraswati), with your dark, beautiful hair and grace, I bow to the divine sound of your Veena. You captivate the world with your eloquent speech, O Mother of the three worlds and beloved of Lord Brahma (Virincha). Please reside within me to remove all flaws in my speech and thoughts. I fall at your feet, O Mookambika!

Pallavi : O Lord Ganesha, protect me! O son of Goddess Gauri, protect me, protect me!

Anupallavi : O sweet-voiced Goddess Saraswati, I bow to you so that you may mercifully dawn and shine inside my heart.

Charanam 1 : O moon-faced Goddess, Ruler of all, I take refuge in your lotus feet. Grant me strength, O beautiful Goddess of the divine mountain! O Goddess Durga residing in Cheranalloor, I come to rest at the flowers of your feet.
