Meaning
Summary :  This devotional composition is dedicated to Lord Narasimha (Narahari), the fourth incarnation of Lord Vishnu, venerating Him as the supreme protector who manifested from a stone pillar to vanquish the demonic King Hiranyakashipu, uphold cosmic truth, and rescue His child-devotee Prahlada. The verses passionately plead for inner purification, asking the Lord to dispel past karmic burdens and illuminate the human heart like the radiant morning sun.  The song celebrates the universal avatar and its scriptural narrative and also as an earnest surrender asking the Lord of immense grace and boundless valor to grant eternal auspiciousness and dispel the darkness of ignorance from the worshiper's soul.

Shlokam: I meditate upon Sri Hari, who emerged miraculously from a pillar in an incomparable man-lion form to destroy the foolish and dreadful demon Hiranyakashipu, protect all living beings, and personally validate the truthful words spoken by Lord Brahma and His devotee Prahlada—manifesting as a divine presence simultaneously fierce, pure, blissful, and immensely compassionate.

Pallavi: Glory, glory to the Supreme Soul manifest in the form of Narahari (Narasimha), whose compassionate nature is devoted to nourishing, sheltering, and protecting all who surrender unto Him.

Anupallavi: Reside within my heart as a fresh, divine light of wisdom; dispel, dispel the inner darkness of ignorance like the brilliantly rising radiant sun. Glory, glory to Narahari.

Charanam 1: Though my worldly life may be transient and devoid of substance, make pure my worship at Your lotus feet; O protector of seekers, shelter of the devoted, and destroyer of earthly afflictions, protect me, my dear friend and guide. Glory, glory to Narahari.

Charanam 2: O beloved Lord of Prahlada, dispel the manifold sins and burdens accumulated across my previous lifetimes; O vanquisher of Hiranyakashipu and refuge of surrendered souls, bestow auspiciousness and well-being forever upon me, who bows before You in humble reverence. Glory, glory to Narahari.
