Meaning
Summary :       This devotional song is a heartfelt hymn of praise and surrender addressed to Lord Krishna (also invoked as Lord Vishnu through names like Mukunda, Murari, Achyutha, and Vaikunthanatha). While no physical temple on Earth is named in the text, it honors Vaikuntha, the heavenly abode of Lord Vishnu. The verses celebrate His divine acts, from imparting the wisdom of the Bhagavad Gita to Arjuna on the battlefield to His loving role as the protector of the cowherds and maidens of Gokula. He is praised as the supreme being, consort of Goddess Lakshmi, and the granter of boons to His devotees. Ultimately, the song serves as an earnest plea asking the Lord for truth, inner strength, and liberation (Mukti), calling upon Him to serve as a savior and companion during the dark times of the Kali Yuga.

Pallavi : The devotee bows in deep prayer and devotion to Lord Krishna, addressing Him by various divine names—the slayer of the demon Kaidabha, the compassionate-eyed Lord of Vaikuntha, Mukunda, and Murari.

Charanam 1 : Refers to the sacred message of the Bhagavad Gita imparted to Arjuna (Partha) on the battlefield with joy and grace. It highlights the Lord as the deeply compassionate, beautiful, and ultimate supreme God who bestows divine wisdom.

Charanam 2 : Focuses on Krishna's role in Gokulam. He is the master of Gokula, the conqueror of divine enemies, the master of cosmic illusions (Maya), and the beloved protector of the Gopas and Gopis (cowherds and cowherding maidens) of the Yadava clan.

Charanam 3 : Exalts the Lord as the consort of Goddess Lakshmi (Poomakal), the controller of day and night (time itself), and the Supreme Purusha (Purushottama). He is praised as the compassionate God who grants boons to those who worship Him sincerely.

Charanam 4 : A prayer seeking divine blessings. The devotee prays to Lord Achyutha to bestow truth, inner strength, and liberation (Mukti), and requests a pure, devoted heart (Maanasam) to contemplate Him always.

Charanam 5 : An earnest plea for salvation as the troubles of the Kali Yuga (the present age of discord) reach their peak. The devotee prays for the Lord—resplendent, radiant like moonstone, and supremely beautiful—to manifest on Earth as a true friend and savior.
