Meaning
Summary :            This astapathy styled song is a deeply devotional prayer dedicated to Lord Krishna, celebrating his divine beauty, supreme grace, and captivating presence in Vraja. It vividly describes his enchanting form, the soothing melodies of his flute, his rhythmic Rasaleela dance with the gopis, and his intimate divine love for Radhika. The verse highlights Radha's longing for reunion with Krishna, portraying her devotion through the constant chanting of his holy name. While the lyrics explicitly glorify Lord Krishna (Hari/Yadava/Madhava) and his sacred abode of Vraja.

Slokam: I meditate upon the sacred feet of Lord Hari, whose divine form is dark like a rain-bearing cloud, enchanting, and exceedingly handsome. He possesses a heart filled with mercy, a charming and tender sideways glance, and beauty that equals millions of Cupids (Kandarpa). I remember the feet of Hari, the embodiment of all auspiciousness.

Charanam 1: Oh lotus-eyed Lord Hari, who steals the minds of the entire world! You are the leader surrounded by the group of young cowherd maidens (gopis) eager to dance. The beloved land of Vraja is echoed with the sweet sound of your anklets and soft tinkling of bangles, offering a pleasant coolness like sweet moonlight.

Charanam 2: Oh lotus-eyed Lord, who loves playing the enchanting music of love on your flute! You fulfill all the desires of the gopis who are mesmerized by love. Eager to lovingly embrace Radhika, you are captivating and immersed in divine passion. Beautiful Lord, your gentle, glowing smile shines brilliantly during the joyful Rasaleela dance.

Charanam 3: Your world-enchanting dance is accompanied by wonderful rhythms and musical beats. Your shining body is adorned and glorified by divine ornaments. You wander through the land of cowherds surrounded by evergreen bowers. Oh Yadava, you are deeply intent on sporting near the innocent wives of the cowherds.

Charanam 4: With her heart burning in the fire of separation from you, Radhika laments here, eagerly longing for reunion with her beloved while devoutly chanting the mantra of Hari's name. Though pained by Cupid's arrows, her mind finds joy at the sight of her Lord. She is the beloved of Madhava, sweet-spoken, and a cherished resident of Vraja.
