Meaning
Summary :        This hymn is dedicated to deity (Durga) of the Iringole Kaavu Bhagavati temple

Shlokam :  I bow before Goddess Kartyayani, who is the ultimate inner meaning of the primordial sound Om. She holds a beautiful flower garland in Her hands and wears a crescent moon fearlessly on Her crest. As the beloved consort of Lord Shiva (the enemy of Kamadeva), She resides in the sacred, lush forest grove of Iringole (Iringole Kaavu), filling it with Her divine radiance and continuing Her cosmic play (leela) while granting all the wishes of the people of this world.

Pallavi  : Oh Goddess Kartyayani, the ocean of mercy and compassion! Please shower Your benevolent and compassionate glance upon us forever.

Anupallavi : Oh vast ocean of mercy! Please cleanse and absolve all the sins committed by us, Your humble servants.

Charanam - 1 : Oh Parameshwari (Supreme Goddess), please protect the devotees who stand before You with folded hands, gazing upon Your divine form. Oh Bhuvaneshwari (Goddess of the Universe), You bless those who partake in Your holy offerings of flowers, prasadam, and panchamritham (holy sweet mixture).

Charanam - 2 : Praise be to You, the lotus-eyed one who sits upon a lotus throne! Victory to You, the Goddess who bestows the blessing of children, prosperity, and fortune (Santhana Soubhagya Lakshmi). Oh Giver of Joy, who dwells in the forest (Aaranya Vaasini), please look upon us with joy and bless us with Your divine grace.
