Summary : This prayer sings the glory of Lord Shiva and Parvati, praising the Lord as an ocean of virtues and the ultimate destroyer of darkness (both literal and spiritual ignorance).
The core of the prayer is a request for the Lord to clear away the meaningless hurdles in the devotee's life path without delay. The chanter begs that their mind and actions never stray from the path of divine service, concluding with an obeisance to the glory of Lord Shiva who resides eternally at the sacred Rishinagakulam (Ernakulam Mahadeva Temple).
