Summary :        This devotional hymn is dedicated to the Divine Mother conceived in the unified forms of Durga, Saraswati, and Varalakshmi. The composition vividly describes Her presence at the celebrated Navaratri Mandapam (associated with the traditional Navaratri Sangeethotsavam / Navaratri Mandapam shrine of the Travancore royal tradition at Thiruvananthapuram). The lyrics extol the four-armed Goddess residing in the Kadamba grove, celebrating Her as the vanquisher of evil, lover of the Sama Veda, and player of the veena who radiates with supreme knowledge and grace. It forms a deep prayer of complete inner surrender, seeking eternal spiritual bliss and freedom from sorrow through meditation on Her sacred lotus feet.

Charanam-2 : At the threshold of the Navaratri Mandapam, adorned with jewels of nine melodies and gem-studded splendor; I adore and worship within the devotee's heart the resplendent presence of the Divine Mother.

Charanam-3 : Strummer of the divine veena, granter of wisdom and arts, O Goddess Saraswati of self-luminous effulgence; O Varalakshmi, the graceful charm of Lord Vishnu, I contemplate and remember You perpetually within my inner heart.
