Meaning
Summary :       This classical devotional kriti is composed in profound adoration of Lord Poornathrayeesha (the supreme manifestation of Lord Mahavishnu / Santhana Gopalamoorthy), the tutelary presiding deity of the historic Lord Poornathrayeesha of Thripunithura. Extolling the deity as the personification of the Absolute Supreme Reality (Poorna Brahma) whose eyes gently swirl with transcendental bliss, the song celebrates Him as Achyuta, deeply contemplated and adored by His ardent devotee Arjuna (Partha). The verses venerate the sovereign Lord of Vaikuntha whose holy feet are the source of all purifying waters and the dispenser of all fourfold spiritual and worldly goals (Purusharthas). Honored by assemblies of celestial beings and praised as the divine brother of Goddess Sri Lalithambika, the hymn forms an earnest surrender to attain eternal, imperishable devotion (akshaya bhakti).

Pallavi :  I surrender and take refuge in Lord Poornathrayeesha, for the complete attainment and fruition of imperishable, everlasting devotion.

Charanam-1 : Unto the supreme Lord who is the embodiment of the Absolute Complete Brahman (Poorna Brahma), whose eyes swirl with ecstatic divine bliss of utter perfection; I take refuge.

Charanam-2 : Unto Achyuta, who is ever cherished and contemplated in deep love by His great devotee Partha (Arjuna); whose lotus feet are the fountainhead of all sacred purifying holy waters (Teertha pada), and who bestows all aspirations and treasures (all spiritual and worldly goals) of life; I take refuge.

Charanam-3 : Unto the supreme Sovereign Ruler of Vaikuntha, who is reverently worshipped by hosts of celestials and wise seers (Vibhudhas), the supreme Lord who is the divine brother of Goddess Sri Lalithambika; I take refuge.
