Meaning
Summary :    This devotional hymn is an earnest ritual offering and prayer of surrender dedicated to Lord Ganesha (Ganapathi Bhagavan), invoked as the beloved son of Goddess Parvati (Malamakal Makane) and the charming pot-bellied Lord (Kudavayatazhaka). The verses present a comprehensive catalog of sacred food offerings (naivedyam) central to traditional Ganesha worship, including puffed rice, popped paddy, beaten rice, fresh milk, auspicious Kadali plantains, sweet tender coconut water, golden ghee, jaggery, coconut pieces, roasted peas, green gram, and sesame seeds. Pleading with the Lord to partake of these sacred delicacies with His benevolent hands, the devotee seeks His divine presence to bestow cherished boons and lifelong companionship. While evoking traditional temple Ganapathi Homam and Naivedya rituals observed across Kerala shrines.

Charanam-1 : Puffed rice (pori), popped paddy blossoms (malar), beaten rice flakes (avil), fresh milk, lovely Kadali plantains, choice ripe bananas, flattened rice, sweet tender coconut water, indigenous paddy rice flakes, pure cow's ghee, jaggery, coconut, roasted garden peas, green gram (cherupayar), and sesame seeds.

Charanam-2 : O beloved son of the daughter of the mountain (Goddess Parvati), O Lord endowed with the charming potbelly! Gracefully accepting with Your resplendent divine hands, please partake of this sacred sweet offering (amrithu); Lord Ganapathi, please bestow Your divine boons upon us; Lord Ganapathi, please grant us Your eternal protection and help!
