Meaning
Summary :       This devotional hymn is dedicated to the unique dual deities (Lord Narasimha and Lord Sudarshana) of the famous Thuravoor Mahakshethram in Alappuzha Kerala.

Pallavi: A salute to the divine dual-deities (Moorthi Thwayam) who reside with great glory, renown, and spiritual presence in this sacred town (Ooru).

Anupallavi: Extols the twin Vaishnava deities as the ultimate fruit of the collective good deeds, virtues, and spiritual merit (Sukritham) of the land of Thuravoor.

Charanam 1: The devotee humbly states: "Oh Supreme Lord, we, your humble servants, recognize and experience every single day the deep, boundless compassion that shines beautifully through Your divine eyes."

Charanam 2: Addresses the deity residing in the northern sanctum (Vadakkinakam). This is Lord Narasimha—the half-man, half-lion incarnation of Maha Vishnu (Naramriga Roopa Hare)—who shines with the brilliance of ten million suns and is eternally praised across all eras of time.

Charanam 3: Dedicated to the same Lord Narasimha carved in sacred black stone (Anjana Shila). The devotee folds their hands in absolute surrender (Anjali kooppi) and bows daily at His holy feet.

Charanam 4: Describes the second deity, who blazes fiercely like the apocalyptic cosmic fire (Pralayaagni) that consumes the universe at the end of an eon (Kalpaantha). He is eternally seated at the center of the sacred six-pointed star (Shadkona Madhyathil).

Charanam 5: Identifies this second deity as Lord Sudarshana (the personification of Vishnu's divine discus) residing in the southern sanctum (Thekkinakam). He is saluted as the protector of the righteous (Sajjana Paalaka) and the destroyer of the wicked (Durjjana Naashaka).

Charanam 6: A prayer to both Lords to permanently rule over, illuminate, and guard the homeland as its supreme masters, blessing the entire region with absolute prosperity, abundance, and holistic well-being (Sarva Soukhyam).

Charanam 7: A final, soulful prayer for liberation. The devotee begs the Lord to mercifully grant them the merit of chanting His holy name (Thirunaama Jaba Punyam), so that during their final moments of life, all worldly attachments, anxieties, and karmic bonds can be easily severed.
