Meaning
Summary :      This hymn sings the glory of Lord Krishna. The first stanza honors Him as the crown jewel of the Yadava dynasty, celebrating His legendary valor in wiping out demonic forces and putting an end to the tyranny of His uncle Kamsa. It beautifully highlights His compassionate nature as a refuge for the weak, the sick, and the suffering. The second stanza describes His magnificent divine form—glorifying His lotus-like eyes and His majestic four-armed appearance bearing the cosmic weapons: the Panchajanya conch, the Sudarshana chakra, and the Kaumodaki mace. The prayer reaches its peak as a declaration of absolute surrender to Shreepathi, the Lord of prosperity, who resides eternally as the guardian deity at Chitpura (Chittoor Sree krishnaswami Temple, Kochi).
